Universal Address

Note: you can input a street address (such as 45 Huntingdale Blvd.) or a street intersection (such as Finch & Phamacy) in the first inputbox and leave the second inputbox empty, or a point of interest (such as: High Park) on the second inputbox and leave the first inputbox empty, or leave both of them empty to get the Universal Address of a place, a city, a post code, or a country. You can also use the above map to find the Universal Address after paning/zooming the map and clicking the location of interest.

For reverse geocoding, you can input either Universal Address or decimal longitude/latitude coordinates. Don't forget the input of the verification code on the top.

This page allows you to look up Universal Addresses and lat/lon with street addresses from 24 countries and with Google Maps for locations all over the world. With the Universal Address, you can use it to replace a street address on location based services:

* To reduce 80% of required characters
* To avoid difficulties in inputting addresses with foreign characters
* To eliminate errors from address databases
* To extend LBS to all locations with/without addresses

Universal Addresses can also be pinpointed on all maps with Universal Map Grids, directly navigated with GPS receivers, and will be used as global postal codes to sort all mail automatically. Therefore, it's a great idea to include the Universal Address as part of your address on your mail, business cards, advertisements and yellow pages so that your visitors and customers can find you more easily and your mail will be delivered more quickly.

If you want to get your web page indexed on all local search engines, you can simply add a NAC tag on your web page:
